Spring

Spring is sprung, but you wouldn't believe yet with this very cold weather.
Time to get writing again
Here's to it now I've found my password again.

Free from London

Now at last after so long the bonds of London have been broken.
I love the place but I think London is a very transient place and it was time to go. I have been gone for a time but still with a property to sell. This took nearly a year and after so long in the capital I thought nothing could surprise me but it did. I have had my faith in human nature broken by the nasty tricks that have been played on us by everyone involved. I mean everyone trust no-one when selling.
I give what I think is a major piece of advice if like us you have your own property but is on leasehold, buy the lease as quickly as possible. You have every right to buy it if not should you want to sell you can be held responsible for any changes that may fall outside the lease even if done before you lived there. If you are subject to a greedy leaseholder as we were they can demand big money off you for nothing and you're in trouble. That is the first of the problems.
But at last I'm free and now am in the sticks in the Midlands...yes home...more to come.
The money that everyone made out of us is blood-money poor them. Everyone who made off us in the wrong way...enjoy...

So after twenty five years in London I found myself living out in the wilds of Worcestershire and I'm constantly being delighted by the fact that away from the capital England is alive and kicking.
I was taken by surprise by the friendliness of the locals out here and the number of events that take place all of the year round. I hope to be able to introduce you to this areas people and places through this blog and also the wonderful food produce that we have.
For me it is a constant revelation and I feel privileged to live in this county on the borders of the Cotswolds.

First Time.

One good thing has resulted from being laid up with the flu that's sweeping the country and that is at last I've created a blog. I don't know how it'll work out or which way it's going but at least it's going somewhere.
I'm curled up on my sofa at the moment still recovering and still feeling a bit miserable even though it's a week since the flu symptoms started. I have my two best friends with me Murphy and Queenie my Jack Russells in their favorite sleep positions. My mind is so fuzzed up at the moment that writing is not easy I seem to go into bouts of staring at nothing so I'm going to leave my first post at that.
Now lets see if it works, it's all quite exciting.
